Three common policy shapes
- Lifetime cover. Chronic and recurring conditions stay covered year after year.
- Time-limited. Each condition is covered for up to 12 months.
- Maximum benefit. A fixed amount per condition, with no time limit, until the amount runs out.
What it will not do
Pre-existing conditions, routine care such as vaccinations and flea treatment, and claims during the initial waiting period sit outside the cover, and an excess applies to each claim. We point these out per policy before you buy, not after.
